Ok, many people has faces issues while importing video from this model. The manual sucks. The image browser ex software sucks more than that of the manual. Frankly, I was furious over not able to import hours of video from this model into my mac.

But fear not, help is here. Here is what you have to do:-
- If you did record in AVCHD mode, all bets are off, please upgrade to iMovie11.
- If you did record in Mp4, then power the camcorder up using power chord.
- Insert the USB cable from the camcorder into your mac.
- Press the *play* button which normally goes into *display all videos* mode, this time it goes into *USB* attached mode. You can see the camcorder screen displaying *USB Connected*.
- Now, here is the beauty, open iPhoto. No, NOT IMovie. I repeat, open IPhoto.
- Iphoto immediately will recognise the exact model, and would suggest to import all the videos, strangely as *pictures*, but who cares?
- Import into iPhoto.
After all imports are complete, take a look around here, match your date, in my case it was 6-July. The videos are in the mac!
